Sorry for the long hiatus! Thing have been so busy around here. We had a wonderful teen read week. Everyone seemed to enjoy talking to our comic book expert from Borderland Comics. Also, many students and teachers walked away with a new comic book.
The Hunger Games event that was held on Friday night was awesome! Everyone involved has a great time. The four hours flew by and the 24 tributes were kept busy jumping, running, thinking, and creating during the eleven different events! Below you will see a picture of one of our events! The Twelve teams were given a large sugar cookie, some white frosting, and four globs of food coloring gel in red, yellow, green, and blue. Using tooth picks and a plastic knife they had to camouflage the cookie on to the paper.
